Civil engineering materials and related substances – such as flooring, wall coatings, furniture, detergents or care and maintenance products, plants, technical equipment as well as the ventilation habits of occupants – tend to influence the composition of indoor air.
Generally speaking, not everything that smells bad is toxic – and not everything that is toxic smells bad.
