BIOLAB is accredited for air sampling to DIN EN17025:2015. The various pollutants that can occur in indoor air often require a variety of sampling techniques.

We sample indoor air for moulds with a special sampling pump for nutrients. High- and medium-volatility organic compounds (HVOC and MVOC) are trapped on an absorption medium and analysed in the laboratory. These include volatile halogenated hydrocarbons (VHH), BTEX, alkanes, aldehydes, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) and other compounds. If there is no specific suspicion of airborne pollutants, a photoionization detector (PIO) can be used to find the source of a suspected evaporation in the room.

Our mobile GC-MS enables us to perform both sampling and analysis on-site and simultaneously.
